Linear Displacement Transducer

  • The Linear Non contact hall’s effect Displacement transducer is used to detect the displacement of system which correspondence to the Linear motion of the shaft of the sensor.
  • The Output signal correspondence to 0 to maximum stroke length with standard stroke length as 5mm,10mm, 20mm, 25mm and 30mm. 40mm travel is available in without spring mode. Customization in the stroke length is possible.
  • Since the Product is based on Contactless Magnetic Technology it has very long life.
  • Fully protected by Allumnium metal with S.S shaft Makes it highly rugged and reliable on mechanical Side and by the feature of overvoltage, shortcircuit and reverse voltage protection makes it rugged on electrical ground.

Mounting

For best performance of LHS-X-18X18-XX below points needs to be taken into consideration.
1) The Pushing force to the shaft need to be perpendicular to the linear motion.
2) The mounting of the sensor should be with minimum 4 clamps in a as flat surface as possible. Clamps will be mounted by 2 M4 screw and Nut assembly at a distance of 29mm from each other. MC-18X18 are availibale for the same.

Magnetic Cross Talk

If two LHS units are to be installed closer than 2 inch (measured between the center of both shaft), a magnetic shield, such as a small steel plate should be installed in between to prevent one from long with that a sensor from causing small changes  in reported  position through magnetic field cross talk.
